Ric Fulop
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Mr. Fulop has served as our Chief Executive Officer since the incorporation of Desktop Metal in 2015. Prior to founding Desktop Metal, Mr. Fulop was a General Partner at North Bridge Venture Partners from 2010 to 2015 and served as a Founder of A123 Systems, Inc. from 2001 to 2010. Mr. Fulop currently serves on the board of governors of World Economic Forum Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (non profit). Mr. Fulop holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Jason Cole
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Cole has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2022. Mr. Cole joins Desktop Metal from Analog Devices where most recently, he served as Division CFO, Global Operations and Technology, a position he has held since January 2018. He joined Analog Devices in 2004, where he has held financial leadership positions across several business units including Communications Infrastructure, Linear & RF, High Speed Converters, and Automatic Test Equipment. Mr. Cole began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in the High Technology Audit practice from 1997 to 2001. Mr. Cole is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Larry O'Connell
General Counsel
Mr. O'Connell has served as our General Counsel since June 2024, having previously served as Assistant General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel since 2021. Prior to joining Desktop Metal, Mr. O'Connell served as Assistant General Counsel at Sensata Technologies from January through September, 2020, after having served in numerous legal roles at Textron Inc. from 1989 to 2018, most recently as Vice President and General Counsel of Textron's Industrial Segment. Mr. O'Connell began his career as an associate at McKenna & Cuneo from 1987 to 1989. Mr. O'Connell holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from The Catholic University of America.
Thomas Nogueira
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Nogueira has served as our Chief Operating Officer since May 2022. Mr. Nogueira previously served as our SVP of Global Operations since December 2021, managing Desktop Metal’s global manufacturing, supply chain and facilities, and as VP of Operations since April 2018. Prior to joining Desktop Metal, Mr. Nogueira served in various Operations, Engineering and Program Management leadership roles at 24M Technologies, A123 Systems, and General Electric. Mr. Nogueira holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and is a graduate of the GE Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP).
Maor Ben-David
SVP of Global Operations and Customer Support
Mr. Ben-David has served as our SVP of Global Operations and Customer Support since August 2022. Mr. Ben-David previously served as our SVP of Global Customer Support since December 2021 and oversees the support teams across all technologies. Mr. Ben-David was the company's first Customer Support employee when he joined the company in February 2017 and became Desktop Metals’ VP of Customer Support in October 2018. As an Additive Manufacturing and 3D veteran with over 13 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Ben-David specializes in supporting post-sales efforts for customers from all regions and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Jonah Myerberg
Chief Technology Officer and SVP, Global Engineering
Mr. Myerberg has served as our Chief Technology Officer since the incorporation of Desktop Metal in 2015. Prior to the founding of Desktop Metal, Mr. Myerberg served as Director of Technology, A123 Motorsports for A123 Systems, Inc. from 2005 to 2013. Mr. Myerberg holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Sarah Webster
Chief Marketing Officer
Ms. Webster has served as our Chief Marketing Officer since January 2022. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at ExOne and in marketing and strategy leadership roles at EnvisionTEC and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Prior to moving into marketing, Ms. Webster was an award-winning medical and automotive journalist, having ended her mainstream media career as the Business and Automotive Editor of the Detroit Free Press. Ms. Webster has a B.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University.
Lou Azzara
President, Desktop Labs
Mr. Azzara has served as President of Desktop Labs since June 2021. Prior to joining Desktop Metal, Mr. Azzara served as CEO for Dental Service Groups, a group of dental laboratories across the United States and Canada. In 2021, National Dentex/Cerberus acquired Dental Service Group which formed the second largest dental laboratory group in the world. In 1995, he co-founded Capek Precious Chemicals where he served as CEO until 2009. Mr. Azzara served as CMO for the Argen corporation and then President of BEGO USA. Mr. Azzara graduated from University of New York at Binghamton and earned his Masters at the Florida Metropolitan University.
Rick Lucas
SVP, Future Markets
Mr. Lucas has served as SVP of our Future Markets Division for Desktop Metal since December 2021. Prior to that he served as the Chief Technology Officer for ExOne from June 2012 to December 2021. He served as Director of Operations and Research for Touchstone Research Laboratory from October 2001 to June 2012. Mr. Lucas managed Product Development for Lake Shore Cryotronics from November 1989 to October 2001. Rick holds an A.A.S. in Manufacturing Technology, B.A. in Physics from Otterbein College, and an MBA from Ashland University.
Patrick Morrissey
SVP, Global Sales
Mr. Morrissey has served as our SVP, Global Sales since September 2022. Mr. Morrissey previously served as our Global VP Sales since November 2021 with the acquisition of the ExOne Company driving growth for Desktop Metal's sand casting and metal production print lines. Mr. Morrissey previously led and successfully drove sales growth with transformative digital technologies for Electronics for Imaging as Global VP Sales of wide format production and Creo, Inc. as VP of Sales for the Americas of digital computer to plate manufacturing. Mr. Morrissey holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and M.B.A. studies from DePaul University.
